Lots of Excitement in our family as you can see.

No doubt you can see that we have had and are having lots of excitement in our family. Just this pass week, we were with Richard and Katherine and of course, Jessica - the night before they left Zambia - Sarah gave birth to Miriam Anna who weighed approx 8lbs 6oz and that same weekend, Rachel was in Prince Edward Island meeting Leonard's family.
We are so thankful for the Lord's care and provision for each of our family. We know that He is in control - even to the point of taking us home in April to see Bill and this is the very time when Don, Rachel and I met Leonard!
We continue to praise Him for all that is passed and trust Him for all that is to come.

Where we had supper after our visit to Mbulundu. Included here are two sisters from Angola, Ruth Hadley and a colleague. Exciting for Richard and Katherine to meet them and for Richard to be able to follow the Portugese. Sachiyuka was also with us.

At Chitokoloki with Charlie Kabwita who began working during my time there and whom I taught to give injections and medicines. He always affectionately calls me "his cousin" the day we went thru with Richard and Katherine - was his last day of work!! He was officially retiring! Re the other two, one is a dear sister from Kabompo, whom we took thru for treatment together with one of her relatives to help care for her.

Couldn't believe the size of the heards of Elephant - there are thousands of them in Chobe Park - probably the largest number of Elephants anywhere in the world. Botswana needs to be congratulated for their conservation.

The Real Reason for our visit to Canada, at this time of the year.

Don's elder brother, Bill, was diagnosed with cancer this year and more recently it was found that he had Multiple Myeloma - he has just begun on Chemotherapy this week.

we also got to meet Richard and Katherine's second little daughter, Jessica. Here she is just around 4 months and fit and healthy. We do thank the Lord for this.

A  special blessing of our visit to Canada was being able to be all together with our family. Here you see them all.

New Year's Conference, Katendwa Farms

I have made a number of attempts to upload some photos of the conference today. Here you will see a frequent use of the blue Canadian Tyre tarps! It is rainy season here and this was needed for the overflow and apparently the bikes! There was a good gathering and good interest.
