we also got to meet Richard and Katherine's second little daughter, Jessica. Here she is just around 4 months and fit and healthy. We do thank the Lord for this.

A  special blessing of our visit to Canada was being able to be all together with our family. Here you see them all.

New Year's Conference, Katendwa Farms

I have made a number of attempts to upload some photos of the conference today. Here you will see a frequent use of the blue Canadian Tyre tarps! It is rainy season here and this was needed for the overflow and apparently the bikes! There was a good gathering and good interest.

Last night Don was speaking on some of the "New things" which we have in Christ. Today we are off to a New Years' Conference.
Thank you to all for your prayers and encouragement thru the Old Year - and as we enter this new year, with it's challenges, we pray that we will be guided and directed by the Lord Himself. We don't know what the future holds, but we do know WHO holds the future.

This is actually Jan 1, 2009 in Zambia

At Garnerton, having worked for some days assembling the trailer which arrived from Canada some months back. Many hours were spent trying to line up the electrics and, on the day we were leaving,thankfully finding that there was a fault half way down the line which, once repaired, meant that the lights we ALL working again. So after a 3 hr delay, and with much appreciation for the work put in by fellow missionaries, Ian Campbell and Rod Boatman- we were able to set off for Kabompo, Don pulling the trailer and Elva driving the new Toyota, also seen here. This 2nd vehicle, is in memory of and with much appreciation to Elva's late parents and will be so much appreciated when it comes to camp and conference season. Already it has saved us a lot of fuel!

Praise to the Lord for the safe arrival of another daughter to Richard and Katherine - born by C. Section on Dec 8th. They are all well!
